Human Rights 101 was developed by HR Proactive Inc., a Canadian-owned and operated company with almost three decades of experience helping organizations address workplace issues and build respectful workplaces.

Founded in 1997, HR Proactive’s experience includes workplace investigations, HR advisory services, sensitivity training, coaching, workplace restoration, and workplace education.

That experience informs the development of Human Rights 101, bringing together human rights principles, plain-language guidance, realistic workplace scenarios, and practical decision points.

The result is training designed to help employees and supervisors understand how human rights apply to the situations they may encounter in the workplace.
